Day 1 - Bonus Activity

Bonus: Now it’s time to start your tour! Curious Kiwi decides to start by taking you on a short tour through downtown Auckland. You stop at the Sky Tower, the tallest building in all of New Zealand. When you look up, you see a huge New Zealand flag on the top of the tower. This flag was created back in 1902. That makes the New Zealand flag 115 years old!

My Flag
This is my Flag. The Light & Dark Blue represents the beautiful ocean around the world and the Red shows the blood for those brave hearted soldiers who went to war. Last of all the Flower is a meaning for all Pacific Islanders that live in New Zealand.

  2. Hi Courtney! It was really nice to see you today at St Pius when I came in to hand out the certificates and prizes for the Winter Learning Journey programme.

You did a lovely job with your blogging over the break. Both Jacinta and I really enjoyed reading your posts. I particularly liked this post because it was so creative and so thoughtful. I really like the way that you included the blue for the oceans and the red for our fellow kiwis lost in the war(s).

    Great job, Courtney!

I hope that you continue this awesome work into Term 3 and Term 4.

See you again later in Term 4!

    Cheers,
    Rachel
