Weekly Activities/ Day 5/ Activity 1

Activity 1: It’s the big day! You’re about to hop on an airplane and travel to a new country. Curious Kiwi will keep you company on the journey. Unfortunately, Curious Kiwi forgot his book and he is worried that he’ll get bored on the long flight without anything to read. He asks you for some help… Think about all of the books that you have read this year and recommend one for Curious Kiwi to read. On your blog list the title and author of the book and then provide a short description of it. What is the book about?

Tittle: The Stinky Cheese Vacation
Author: Elisabetta Dami/Geronimo Stilton

This book here is called The Stinky Cheese Vacation by Geronimo Stilton. This book is about a famous mouse that is called Geronimo Stilton going on a vacation at his uncles(StingySnout) castle. His uncle lies to him and gets him to clean up his entire hotel that Geronimo doesn't know about.

At the end the whole Hotel was clean, tidy and  spotless. There were people that came to stay in the hotel for a while but once Geronimo heard them say Hotel he was so confused. His uncle(StingySnout) told him everything and then Geronimo got mad. When Geronimo decided to come back his uncle was so revealed to see him and he said sorry and Geronimo has forgiven him. So Geronimo and his sister, cousin and nephew got to stay at his uncle(StingySnout's) Hotel for his vacation.

  1. Hello Courtney
I used to read Geronimo Stilton books and I used to enjoy them. They are awesome! Keep up the great work!

  2. Good morning Courtney,

Thanks so much for your recommendation to Curious Kiwi. Your book you have recommended certainly looks interesting! I like how you have given such a detailed and vivid description of both the plot and the characters involved. That Uncle Stingysnout sounds like quite a trickster! I'd be mad too if someone tricked me into cleaning an entire hotel for them.

This looks like it would be a good read for a flight to Germany. Are there any other books you might recommend that you've read? It's a very long flight, so I want to make sure you and Curious Kiwi have plenty to keep you busy :-)
