Activity 1: The mascots for the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro are Vinicius and Tom. They can be found on all of the advertisements for the Olympic Games and they have also been featured in a number of videos. Click on the link below to watch one episode of the Tom and Vinicius show. Summary: Vinicius and Tom didn't know each other. Until something came floating in the air but when they saw it they were a bit unsure of what is was so both of them chased after it. It led them on top of a hill and when they saw each other Vinicius smelled Tom and Tom pocked Vinicius then they just did a handshake.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds to me like you are summarising Episode #1, am I right? I personally love this episode because it shows us how the two mascots met and how they became friends. The two mascots are apparently going to be attending a number of events at the Rio Olympics to cheer on the athletes. Tom will then attend the Paralympics in September to cheer on the Paralympic athletes because he is the official mascot of the Paralympics. Until I made this programme I didn't know that they had specific mascots for specific games. Did you? That is one of the things that I like most about the holiday blogging challenge - you are always learning something new!
